Our Story
In 2008 Chef Mike Randolph opened St. Louis' first traditional Neapolitan pizzeria, The Good Pie-helping introduce wood fired pizza to the city. Since then, he has been honored as a 5 time James Beard Award semi-finalist, while his wife, Liz Randolph has been successfully running our breakfast and lunch spot Half & Half since 2011.
A word from Mike: Nettie was my grandpa's favorite sister, and her son Sam was my dad's closest cousin. Bringing Nettie's to life has reconnected us to family and some fun old traditions. One of my earliest flavor memories is the smell of fried dough and red sauce from her kitchen when I was a kid. This place is about that feeling. Simple food, made with care, meant to be shared.

Saw this pop up on Google maps and there was just a single photo in one review, and figured we'd give it a try. So happy we did! We got a sausage on the bianco base and it was absolutely prefect. Great char on the crust, amazing flavors, and went really well with their secret spice they had on the tables. I don't work far from here so it will definitely be something we so for our Friday lunch.
We started with the basics — a margherita and the arugula salad — and both were great. The margherita really lets the dough and ingredients speak, and the crust was exactly what you want: crisp, chewy, and not heavy. Simple, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. The arugula salad was fresh and bright and a perfect way to start. The space has an easy, welcoming vibe and the staff were friendly and relaxed. This is the kind of place you go once and immediately know you’ll be back to work your way through the menu.
Amazing!!! I’ve been waiting forever for an authentic pizza place in this area! Best pizza I’ve had in over a decade! Family friendly and my entire family loved it! Can’t wait to go back.
